Greetings Friends & Family!
Our summer venture is about to begin! Sophie and I will be departing from Newark airport May 29th and headed to London and then Kenya. We will meet up with organization that is hosting us at the airport in Kenya and will travel from there into Uganda and finally into Sudan.
We will be traveling and living with two other volunteers Ian and Melanie during our 3 month stay. Our destination is a small town named Nimule in the deep south of Sudan very close to the actual border of Uganda. Our host organization is the NSCC council of churches. We will have no phone access obviously, but hope to have internet access on occasion and keep everyone posted via our blog and e-mail.

May the Lord bless you both and that he works wonders with you girls, I will continue praying and sending blessing to you an dthe people who volunteered...you both will be missed...I love you both so much and Emily...i will be moving in to EMU the 17...so I might go visit you if you are not too tired from your trip...i'm sure you will want to rest and not want to see your loud friend around...lol Las quiero mucho...LOVE YOU BOTH!!!!!!!!
